School lunches are made fresh on-site in our school kitchen.
School dinners are charged at £10.50 per week (£2.10 per day) and should be paid for either weekly on a Monday morning or termly with the correct money or a cheque payable to Sefton MBC.
Under the Universal Free School Meals scheme the government fund lunches for all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. This offer does not depend on your household income or whether you receive any benefits - every child in these classes are eligible to take up this offer.
FREE SCHOOL MEALS
Please note that you MUST APPLY for free school meals for Y3 upwards, please see below if you think you may be eligible, this is NOT automatically renewed each school year.
Your child may be eligible for free meals if you are in receipt of any of the following:-
· Income Support
· Income-based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA)
· Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
· Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
· The guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
· Child Tax Credit, provided the parents are not also
entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross
Income of no more than £16,190
· Working Tax Credit run-on, which is paid for four weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax credit
Universal Credit – for those applying on or after 1 April 2018, their household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits they get).
Please contact Sefton Council on 0151 934 3456 if you think you may be entitled, even if your child brings a school packed lunch or is in receipt of the infant universal free school meals. It only takes a couple of minutes of your time.
EVERY REGISTERED FSM ENTITLEMENT WILL PROVIDE ADDITIONAL BUDGET ALLOCATION TO SCHOOL.
